Ingredients for the Cake

  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar
  • ½ cup sunflower oil
  • 1 packet of vanilla
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup of powdered coconut
  • 1 handful of walnuts – chopped
    Ingredients for Cream
  • 1 liter milk
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat starch
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 packet of vanilla
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar
    200 grams cream – whipped
    Ingredients for Sherbet
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 glasses of water
  • 1 – 2 drops of lemon juice


For the sherbet;

  1. Take the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring it to a boil. After boiling, add 1-2 drops of lemon juice, set aside and wait for it to cool.

For the cake;

  1. Take the eggs in a mixing bowl and whisk them lightly.
  2. Add powdered sugar and whisk well. Add sunflower oil and continue whisking.
  3. Pass the vanilla and baking powder through a sieve and add them to the egg mixture.
  4. Add the coconut and breadcrumbs and mix with the help of a spatula. Finally, add the finely chopped walnuts and spread them evenly in your oiled square glass baking dish (21×21).
  5. Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. Let’s pour the cooled syrup on your dessert that you took out of the oven and warmed on the side.

For the cream;

  1. Let’s cook milk, starch, flour and granulated sugar in a saucepan.
  2. When it thickens, take it off the heat and add the vanilla and mix it.
  3. After it cools down, add the whipped cream and mix it slowly.
  4. Spread the cream on the sorbet dessert. You can sprinkle coconut and walnuts on it and serve.
