Ingredients for Lettuce Salad with Cashew Nuts and Soy Sauce

  • 1 small atom salad
  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 1.5 cups grated carrots
  • 1 red bell pepper (Chopped)
  • 1/2 bunch coriander (Chopped)
  • 1/2 cup spring onions (Chopped)
  • 3/4 cup salted cashews (roasted)
  • 1/2 cup almonds (roasted)

for the sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of low salt soy sauce
  • 2-3 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 1.5 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey
  • 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (Chopped)

For the above

  • Extra cashews and almonds
  • Green Onion (Finely Chopped)
  • Coriander (finely chopped)

How to Make Lettuce Salad with Cashew Nuts and Soy Sauce?

  • Wash the leaves of the atom salad and drain well. Dry with a paper towel and chop finely. Transfer to a deep bowl and add and mix the other ingredients respectively.
  • Whisk the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl. If you want a thicker creamy sauce, add a tablespoon of tahini or cashew oil.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad and mix the salad using tongs. Serve garnished with roasted cashews, almonds, green onions and coriander leaves.
