Materials:
1 medium potato
1 onion
1/3 bunch of parsley
5 spring onions
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
2 tablespoons of chili paste
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1/2 cup of red lentils
1 cup fine bulgur
4 tablespoons of pomegranate syrup
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
Preparation of:
Take the washed red lentils in a pot. After peeling the skin of the potato, slice it coarsely and add it to the lentils. Add enough water to reach the top and let it boil. When the lentils are crushed and the potatoes are boiled, remove from the stove. Add bulgur to the mixture that will remain watery, mix well and close the lid. Let it brew for 10 minutes. Mash the potatoes well and mix all the ingredients together. Transfer tomato paste, olive oil and onion into a pan. Dry it well. Add on bulgur, potatoes and lentils and mix. After the initial heat passes, add finely chopped parsley and spring onions. Finally, add all the spices, pomegranate syrup, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and salt, mix well. Shape with your hands.
