Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal Recipe

Necessary materials:

  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 500 ml of water
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • Salt
  • 1 sweet organic apple
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 100 ml milk (1.5% fat)
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • cinnamon powder

Preparation of

  • Bring the oat flakes and chia seeds to a boil in a saucepan with 1⁄2 liter water and a pinch of salt and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, cut the apple into thin slices. Heat the butter in a small skillet and briefly sauté the apple slices in it.
  • Stir cold milk into oatmeal and divide porridge into deep plates or bowls. Place apple slices on top, drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle some cinnamon on top. That’s it. Enjoy your meal!
